Park Rules and Regulations

Larchmont Manor Park is privately owned and is maintained by the Larchmont Manor Park Society, a not-for-profit organization. This park was formed as a contemplation and passive use park. Therefore its simple rules are designed to enhance the ability for all to enjoy. With that objective in mind, we ask our guests and visitors to follow these specific rules and regulations:

  1. Park is open from 7 am to dusk.  Violators will be charged with trespassing under NY State Law §140.05-.17.
  2. Park is closed during inclement weather.
  3. Dogs must be leashed and waste picked up.
  4. Picnicking, blankets, chairs of any type, padded mats, hanging hammocks from trees, food and beverages are not permitted anywhere within the park facility.  Violators will be asked by park security to leave its premises.
  5. All visitors that use the park must wear appropriate attire.  Appropriate attire includes shirts, pants, shorts, dresses or skirts.  No sunbathing allowed.
  6. No ball playing or Frisbees, biking, skating or scooters.  Kite flying, fishing, or swimming is not permitted.  The launching or landing of watercrafts from within this park is strictly prohibited.
  7. The use of drones is strictly prohibited
  8. Group gatherings, wedding ceremonies, and other commercial activity including commercial or professional photography is not permitted in Manor Park.  Please note that photography for wedding pictures and family portraits are permitted but with prior written permission.  To obtain a permit to take wedding or family pictures in Manor Park, you must be a Larchmont (10538 zip code) resident.
  9. Please remember this park does not have restroom facilities so please plan accordingly.  Both Manor Beach and HHYC Yacht Club are not permitted to allow outsiders to enter their facility for this purpose.  There are no exceptions.
